Cost of Living in the United Kingdom
Wanting to apply with a married partner and/or child(ren)?
The cost of living in the United Kingdom varies depending on lifestyle choices and location. In general, expats will find that major cities like London are more expensive, while the provinces and countryside towns are far more reasonable. Most expats living in the United Kingdom will have access to at least some level of free healthcare on the UK’s National Health Service and will be eligible to send their children to British state schools at no cost.
One amazing advantage of this program is that it is possible to be with your married partner and/or children. This can be initiated after a 4–6-month trial period has passed. The trial period is necessary for the candidate and UK employer really to see if the match works and will last for years. After that is certain, the UK employer will issue the required papers for the other family members to receive their visas. The married partner can legally engage into a paid job and the children can go to public school without extra cost.
