Passaporte

VISTOS

Depending on your program details and the desired country you want to study, you might need a visa. If you need a visa the entire process will be different and will take more time.

In general, a visa is needed at the port of entry (the airport, harbor or border point you will arrive first in a country). After this the accompanying main document (if provided; in the US for example it is a DS or I-20 form) is the main document which proves your status while being inside the country.
The immigration officer you will talk to at the port of entry has the right and power to deny you the entire into the country and to ask you to go back home with the next possibility. This means having a visa is no guarantee that you can enter the country. Saying this depending on the country the chances of getting the entry denied is very very slim. To reduce this possibility to an absolute minimum, ICCE has the knowledge to get you best prepared for talking with the immigration officer.

Please let us share below information we think will help you to make the right program decisions. This info does not list all possible visas. We listed visas based on popularity. If a visa is missing and you would like to receive more information, please contact us.

NOTE: As things in this area are often changing, please make sure you consult with ICCE for the up-to-date information which might not be listed below. Also as all consulates have certain visa applying procedures, ICCE is here for you to guide you through the process so that delays and even visa denials can be reduced to an absolute minimum. ICCE’s advice and support will also help you to save valuable time as ICCE has a close and direct contact to many different consulates. This might be very valuable for your visa application.
