A ILAC, EM TORONTO, AJUDA A REALIZAR OS SONHOS DOS ALUNOS!

A ILAC ganhou dois prêmios este ano que consolidam o belo trabalho que fazem em Toronto: foi votada a melhor escola de línguas do Canadá em 2013, além de ter entrado para a lista das cinco melhores escolas de línguas do mundo inteiro. 

Para saber um pouco sobre como é estudar na ILAC, leia a experiência de Laetitia Ropp, uma parisiense que ganhou uma bolsa de estudos de um ano em um concurso de fotografia no Facebook!

Laetitia Ropp, uma francesa parisiense, desde sempre sonhava em estudar inglês no Canadá, só não sabia exatamente como isso iria acontecer.

Felizmente, a aluna aplicada entrou em um concurso de fotografias do Facebook patrocinado pela ILAC, além de outras grandes empresas canadenses, e levou um susto quando soube que a sua foto tinha sido a que recebeu mais “likes”, pondo Laetitia entre as 10 finalistas entre mais de 2000 participantes.

Como finalista, ela tinha de expor a razão pela qual ela seria a melhor candidata para estudar inglês no Canadá. Então, ela preparou cuidadosamente um vídeo para o YouTube e acabou sendo a vencedora do concurso! Veja o vídeo aqui.  

“Eu fiquei tão feliz por ter ganhado!”, confessou a fotógrafa de 23 anos. Ela não só recebeu um ano de bolsa escolar como também foi convidada para escrever semanalmente para o icônico jornal francês Le Parisien sobre a sua experiência. “Eu adoro viajar e partilhar as minhas experiências com os outros”, diz, “e quero mostrar como o Canadá é um ótimo lugar para viajar e estudar”.

A aluna publica no seu blog (A Year in Canada) sobre como é viver em Toronto, viajar pelo Canadá, e sobre a sua vida quotidiana no país estrangeiro. Um dos seus passeios favoritos foi a viagem ao Quebec e ao famoso hotel de gelo. Ela também foi a Niagara Falls, nos Estados Unidos e está planejando visitar Nova Iorque em breve.

Quando lhe perguntam qual é a sua impressão geral do Canadá ela prontamente responde que o povo canadense é muito amigável. “Todas as manhãs o funcionário do metrô fala comigo e com outras pessoas”, conta ela, rindo, “ele sempre diz olá e bom dia e é uma surpresa para mim porque é muito diferente da França. Eu adoro que isso seja assim e me deixa sempre de bom humor”.

Laetitia está aproveitando ao máximo a aventura com a qual tanto sonhou e espera melhorar o seu inglês tanto quanto conseguir durante a sua estadia. Ela não sabe o que a aguarda no futuro, mas tem um conselho para os alunos que desejem estudar inglês no Canadá: “É uma ótima experiência estar na ILAC porque além dos excelentes professores de inglês, o curso é interativo. Não é a mesma coisa que aprender inglês em uma universidade ou no seu país. Aqui, você conhece gente do mundo inteiro. Eu recomendaria a qualquer pessoa que queira aprender inglês a vir para a ILAC.”

THE ILAC TORONTO HELPs THE STUDENTS ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS!

When asked what is your general impression of Canada she promptly replied that the Canadian people are very friendly. I love that and always puts me in a good mood. "

Laetitia is enjoying the most she can of this adventure that she dreamed about and hopes to improve your English as well as achieve during her stay .
