The Sous Chef’s primary responsibility is the management of an assigned galley and to ensure that the highest standards are achieved and maintained within budgetary limitations. He/she is seen as an inspirational role model by his/her co-workers and is a top professional in the field with a passion for the Culinary arts. This includes all practices, procedures, training and resident/guest satisfaction levels.
The incumbent reports directly to the Chef de Cuisine
Previous experience as a sous chef required.
Minimum requirements of the candidate (diploma recognized culinary institution and minimum 3 years of experience as sous chef in high volume 3 meals a day ultra luxury establishement).
6 months on, 2 months off - year round salary, 18 months contract
Salary USD 3500 per month, based on 60 hours work week.
